Objectives

Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami and family have a long standing desire to serve the community by giving a purposeful Technical Education to the people of our nation. Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology was started to achieve this goal in 2007.

Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami is basically a medical doctor by profession and had the vision of importing quality technical education and training the youth of our nation. After his return from the U.S.A., he started the Kovai Medical Center and Hospital at Coimbatore in the year 1989. K.M.C.H. has paramedical institutions to train the supporting staff for health care. He felt that Technical education is needed for our nation and hence he started this Institution.

The objective of this Institute is to provide proper technical education, training and research facilities to the students of our nation. The institute shall augment the human resources through inter-disciplinary, problem oriented and student centered training programmes to cater to the manpower requirements for the newly emerging multinational IT industries.

The institute campus is growing into a great educational center of excellence and it will be a pioneer institution in the coming years. Proper atmosphere is created to expand the knowledge in the field of Engineering and Technology for our young intellectuals. This institution will provide all facilities to accommodate all newly emerging areas of educational training. It aims to render excellence in education through well educated and trained educationalists. Seminars and conferences are organized to enlighten our students in the field of educational opportunities to achieve academic excellence.
