Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology was conferred with Autonomous Status by the University Grants Commission (UGC) from the academic year 2022-2023 and subsequently the Office of the Controller of Examinations was established.
Responsibilities
Scheduling & Timetable
Preparing and publishing the examination schedule, including internal assessments and semester end examinations, in coordination with Anna University.
Hall Ticket Issuance
Generating and distributing hall tickets to eligible students after verifying attendance and academic requirements.
Exam Coordination
Coordinating with departments to appoint invigilators, arrange examination halls, and ensure smooth conduct of all examinations.
Malpractice Control
Enforcing strict anti-malpractice measures and handling malpractice cases in accordance with Anna University regulations and institutional norms.
Result Processing
Overseeing the collection, evaluation, and tabulation of answer scripts, and publishing results within the stipulated timeframe.
Regulations Compliance
Ensuring all examination activities comply with AICTE, UGC, and Anna University examination regulations and circulars.
Grievance Redressal
Addressing student grievances related to results, revaluation requests, and exam-related issues with transparency and fairness.
Record Maintenance
Maintaining comprehensive academic records, mark statements, transcripts, and other official documents for all students.
