B-MEDIDIANS
The Biomedical Engineering Engineers Students' Association was the inaugurated in the year 2013 and named as 'B-MEDIDIANS'. This Association is responsible for organizing Technical events, Workshops, Guest Lectures etc., The Association also played a vital role to form bridge between students and industry by organizing Industrial Visits, Field Visits to understand learning and understand the theoretical concepts. It develops student self analyze, project development, proposal submissions, industry interaction, intern-project collaboration activities. The Association Works with the Following Objectives: To advance the education and social development of its members and students of the college as a whole. To promote, encourage and co-ordinate student clubs, societies, sports and social activities. To challenge members of the Dr. NGPIT Community to explore their own culture and the culture of others in the campus community in an effort to enhance greater multicultural awareness and promote dialogue exchange. Students will have a variety of out-of-classroom learning, recreational and social opportunities. To develop positive relationships with the general public through participation in community service and other related projects
Biomedical Engineering Society of India (BMESI)
The Biomedical Engineering Society of India (BMESI) is an All India, non-profit making professional learned body. The Headquarters of the BMESI is presently at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal. The Biomedical Engineering Society of India (BMESI) Students Chapter at Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology was established in the year 2014. Through the BMESI Students Chapter, various activities like workshops, seminars, guest lectures, invited talks, and competitions are organized periodically.
Indian Biomedical Skill Consortium (IBSC)
The Department of Biomedical Engineering, Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology, Coimbatore registered itself as a partner institution with Indian Biomedical Skill Consortium on 13.06.2018. In collaboration with IBSC 11 of our students visited Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) which is Asia’s first dedicated Medical Devices Manufacturing Park, spread over an area of 270 acres with 200-250 manufacturing units under development. IBSC has also stepped forward to support our annual workshop “A forum for hands on training and quality control of Medical Equipment” (MedZEST-2019) towards its grand success and has offered to conduct an assessment towards a certification in our premises. The National Coordinator of IBSC, Mr.Nitturi Naresh Kumar visited our campus for an interactive session and is closely collaborating with our Biomedical Engineering students and Alumni towards their skill development and placement opportunities spread out across the country. In February 2018, IBSC was jointly established by the Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ), Quality Council of India (QCI) through the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB) and the Association of Indian Medical Devices Industry (AiMeD). The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) USA, which is a non-profit organization founded in 1967, is a diverse community of biomedical professionals and recognized in more than 100 countries for its contribution to the healthcare world. IBSC signed MoU with AAMI where an IBSC certified candidates will have access into international job market.
Society for Engineering Education Enrichment (SEEE)
Society for Engineering Education Enrichment (SEEE) is a nonprofit organization for the engineering profession in India. SEEE founded in 2016, major challenge by a group of young graduate engineers in India to serve the interests of the individual engineers in India across all the disciplines of engineering. The society looks after the professional needs of members through well structured programmes and regular interactions among the different cadre of membership, enhancing high professional standard and ethical practices. The SEEE Biomedical Students Chapter at Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology was established on January 6th 2017. Through the SEEE Students Chapter, various activities like workshops, seminars, guest lectures, invited talks, and competitions are organized periodically.
CSE Illuminator's
The CSE Association was inaugurated in 2009 as ILLUMINATOR'S is responsible for conducts number of co-curricular activities including special lectures by experts, workshops, technical seminars, etc. This association aims to provide every student with a strong conceptual foundation in the core areas of Computer Science. It has successfully organized many field trips to gain practical experience and to foster a deeper learning and understanding of the theoretical concepts. Facilitate research, knowledge sharing, learning and career enhancement for all categories of CS/IT Professionals. It inspires and nurtures new entrants into the industry and helping them to integrate into the IT community. It empowers users in Industry and Government, with and without IT background, by providing forum for continuing knowledge, imparting of skills and participation in activities of CS/IT community in academia, research and industry.
ECE Technoblast
The ECE Association was inaugurated in October 2009 seeded with the idea of organizing a national level technical symposium which would be the first of its kind in the college. Since its conception in 2009, the ECE Association has played the vital role of being the much needed bridge between the students and industry level research and development

EEE Electroz
'The Electrical and Electronic Engineers Students' Association named 'ELECTROZ' is responsible for organizing events, workshops, etc in the institute on behalf of the EEE department. It has successfully organized many field trips to gain practical experience and to foster a deeper learning and understanding of the theoretical concepts. It provides an opportunity for students to take the responsibility of organizing and managing technical symposiums. It paves a way to self analyze, develop and provides a chance to work with diversified groups.
IAEMP
The Indian Association of Energy Management Professionals (IAEMP) holds significant relevance to the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) department of college associations. IAEMP collaborates with EEE departments in various educational institutions across India to enhance energy efficiency knowledge and practices. This partnership provides students and faculty valuable resources, workshops, and networking opportunities to deepen their understanding of energy management and sustainability. IAEMP's contributions to the EEE department foster the development of future professionals well-versed in energy conservation, renewable energy, and efficient electrical systems, thereby contributing to India's energy security and sustainable development goals. It exemplifies the synergy between academia and industry in advancing energy management within the EEE domain.
IEEE Student Branch
Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology has inaugurated the IEEE student branch in the month of July, 2010. Since its inception the student branch has organized many inter and intra college competitions and activities like Project Design Contest, Technical Quiz, Seminars and Guest lectures. Women in Engineering- The IEEE Affinity group has also organized many health care and awareness camp exclusively for women students which has sown the seed for developing healthy and energetic mind among the budding engineers. Apart from organizing events the student branch has also participated in various national and International Level competitions conducted by IEEE and the students have brought laurels to this institution. The branch has also received the Best Student Branch award consecutively SINCE 2010 as an appreciation for being active volunteering ourselves in all the events of the International Society. Our Student branch counselor has also elevated as a Senior Member of IEEE. WIE affinity group received a cash of hundred dollars for its achievements. Our IEEE student branch received certificate of appreciation for scoring top rank in IEEE Xtreme contest towards the advancement of IEEE and engineering professions during the year 2014, 2015 & 2016. Our Student branch counselor received certificate of appreciation for being volunteered as a proctor to guide and oversee competing teams in IEEE Xtreme 7.0, IEEE Xtreme 8.0, IEEE Xtreme 9.0, IEEE Xtreme 10.0& IEEE Xtreme 11.0 Programming Competitions. Our IEEE student branch received Certificate of appreciation from IEEE Madras Section for hosting 28 teams in "IEEE Xtreme Programming Competition 10.0

Indian Welding Society
Indian welding Society (IWS) - Student forum of Mechanical Engineering at Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology was started during the academic year 2017-2018 to facilitate exchange of ideas, information, development work related to welding amongst members; by organizing lectures, workshops, seminars, symposia, conferences and development programs; publish periodicals, books, journals, and magazines; and develop software and educational programs. The Inaugural Function of Indian Welding Society (IWS) - Student forum of Mechanical Engineering Department, Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology was held on Friday (05.01.2018) at 10.00am. Mr. N.Rajasekaran Hon. Secretary, Indian Welding Society & Deputy Genaral Manager, BHEL Trichy was inaugurated the function. The Guest of Honor were Dr.N.Murugan, Advisor-IWS (Southern Zone - Coimbatore Centre) & Professor, PSG College of Tech. Coimbatore and Mr.G.Ranjendran , Hon. Treasurer, IWS & Senior Deputy Manager, BHEL, Trichy.
Mechladoz Association
MECHLADOZ of Mechanical Engineering Department is an organization formed by the students that works for the students since 2010. The basic aim of MECHLADOZ is to enrich students with different qualities to add dimensions to their personality so that every student emerges as multifaceted engineer in the society. Every Mechanical Engineering student at the start of the second year is a member of MECHLADOZ.
Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)
Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) is an International professional engineering society whose members combine their specialized abilities to further advance the research, development, design, manufacture and utilization of vehicles which operate on land, water, air and space. Vision To Continuously Enrich Knowledge Base of Practitioners in Mobility Industry and Institutions in the Service of Humanity. Mission To enhance the knowledge base of members who are mobility practitioners within India To provide access to SAE International programs and services globally enabling them to practice world class standard in productivity and quality To develop technical and scientific reports and engineering standards for the benefit of mankind To provide a forum for members to informally exchange views and ideas Student Convention Student Convention is the group of competitions for SAE MEMBERS conducted every year, which engages large sections of our student members through competitions and events spread over 3 Tiers viz, College level(Tier 1), Divisional level (Tier 2) and Main Convention (Tier 3). Objectives Celebration of Success (of yearlong activities that happen at collegiate clubs) Showcasing student abilities(Technical, Design, Fabrication, Problem Solving) Experience sharing and networking (belief in collective and fraternal growth) Motivating students to take up automotive sciences as career. The Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF)
The Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF) – Students Chapter of Mechanical Engineering at Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology was started to participate the Industrial visit, lecture by Subject Experts, Annual Student Conclave, Annual Quiz Competition, Annual Job Fair organized by IIF, along with the Internship Opportunities, In-plant training and projects in member foundries.
Association Of Consulting Civil Engineers
Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology has inaugurated the ACCE Student Chapter and Institute Membership in the year 2018. The main object of the association is to encourage and foster the ideals of the profession, to hold conferences/meetings/seminars for dissemination of knowledge amongst the civil engineers in particular and the society at large. To bring to the members the latest technological advancements in the world, prepare them to carry out futuristic designs with an eye on assurance of quality, to give access to technical papers, books and computer software, to arrange lectures by distinguished engineers from India and abroad and to conduct study tours of projects. Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology has inaugurated the IGS Student Chapter and Institute Membership in the year 2018.The Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS) aims at promoting co-operation amongst engineers and scientists for the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in the fields of Soil Mechanics, Foundation Engineering, Soil Dynamics, Engineering Geology, Rock Mechanics, Snow and Ice Mechanics and allied fields and their practical applications. It provides a common forum for academicians, research workers, designers, construction engineers, equipment manufacturers and others interested in geotechnical activity.
Indian Green Building Council
Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology has inaugurated the IGBC Student Chapter and Institute Membership in the year 2019. The objective of IGBC Green New Buildings rating system is to facilitate a holistic approach to create environment friendly buildings, through architectural design, water efficiency, effective handling of waste, energy efficiency, sustainable buildings, and focus on occupant comfort & well-being. The rating system evaluates certain mandatory requirements & credit points using a prescriptive approach and others on a performance based approach. Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology has inaugurated the IWWA Student Chapter and Institute Membership in the year 2019. The Objective of IWWA is to stimulate and promote the development of Science, Technology, Economics, Environment, Ecology and Social Sciences in managing the Water; both fresh and waste water. It provides a common platform for the persons and organizations working in this sector to exchange views, share ideas, disseminate information and knowledge about new and appropriate technologies for improving and upgrading the services. IWWA is now in its fifties and have accumulated good experience in the promotion and transfer of knowledge in Water and Waste Water management Science & Technology and handling the related issues.
