Intro AICTE IDEA Lab
The AICTE IDEA Lab is a hands-on innovation space where students turn ideas into real-world solutions. With modern tools and tech, it fuels creativity, builds prototypes, and supports startups, from concept to market.
The AICTE IDEA (Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship Academy) Lab at our institution is a dynamic hub established to foster creativity, problem-solving, and innovation among students and faculty. Aligned with the vision of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the IDEA Lab empowers learners to move beyond conventional classroom learning and gain hands-on experience in design thinking, prototyping, product development, and entrepreneurship.
Equipped with advanced facilities such as 3D printers, laser cutters, electronics workbenches, IoT kits, prototyping tools, and rapid manufacturing equipment, the lab provides an ideal ecosystem for ideation and experimentation. Students are encouraged to transform their innovative ideas into tangible solutions addressing real-world challenges in healthcare, engineering, and sustainability.
- Hands-on training in emerging technologies (AI, IoT, AR/VR, 3D Printing, Robotics).
- Interdisciplinary collaboration among engineering, medical, and management domains.
- Support for startups, patents, and entrepreneurial ventures.
- Contribution to national missions like Atmanirbhar Bharat, Skill India, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The AICTE IDEA Lab stands as a center of innovation excellence, preparing students to become industry-ready professionals, researchers, and entrepreneurs with a strong focus on societal impact and global competitiveness.
