Mathworks Academy

MATHWORKS ACADEMY provides Campus-Wide access of the MATLAB software to use the latest versions of MATLAB and Simulink and other MathWorks products to support the course work and research for the benefit of faculty members and Student. The Institute deploys MATLAB and Simulink anywhere access for Students, Educators, and Researchers. The institute has signed an agreement with MathWorks that provides all of our students, educators, and researcher's campus-wide access to MATLAB, Simulink, and additional products. It has joined with more than 700 schools worldwide already using the MathWorks Campus-Wide License.

The adoption of MATLAB and Simulink for technical computing and Model-Based Design further demonstrates the institutes commitment to continuously enhancing the learning environment for its students, educators, and researchers by providing anywhere access to cohesive industry-standard tools. MATLAB and Simulink campus-wide License includes analysis, design, modeling, simulation, code generation, and testing products for the engineering and science schools, plus computational finance for the business and economic schools. The institute deploys these tools to students, educators, and researchers via a centralized license that increases the administrative efficiency of software management and distribution and ensures that a common set of tools is readily available for all users.

The Campus-Wide License provides access to all faculty, staff, and students on university-owned computers. Faculty, staff, and students are also able to install MathWorks software on their personally-owned computers. The Campus-Wide License permits the installation of MATLAB and Simulink on campus-managed and user- owned computers.

Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology established the MATHWORKS ACADEMY in the year 2019 to provides Campus-Wide access of the MATLAB software to use the latest versions of MATLAB, Simulink and other MathWorks products. The Institute deploys MATLAB and Simulink anywhere access for Students, Educators, and Researchers to enrich the real time learning capability in theircurriculum and research. The institute has signed an agreement with MathWorks that provides all of our students, educators, and researcher's campus-wide access to MATLAB, Simulink, and additional products.

OBJECTIVE

  • To enhance the learning environment for students, educators, and researchers by providing anywhere access by adoption of MATLAB and Simulink for technical computing and Model-Based Design to cohesive industry-standard tools.
  • To create an environment for analysis, design, modelling, simulation, code generation, and testing products for the student project & research work.
  • To enhance the administrative efficiency of software management and distribution and ensures that a common set of tools is readily available for all users via a centralized license.

OUTCOMES

MATLAB users in the institute will be able to,

  • Develop digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms
  • Model and simulate systems
  • Automatically generate code for embedded DSPs, MCUs, GPPs, FPGAs, and ASIC’s.
  • Verify and validate your hardware and software implementations
  • Hardware connectivity and data analysis for test and measurement applications
  • Design, analyse and develop software platforms for real time applications using Image and signal processing tools
  • Perform Financial modelling, analysis, and application deployment
