ABOUT Dr.N.G.P. IT – SALZER INNOVATION CENTER
Dr.N.G.P. IT – SALZER INNOVATION CENTER, inaugurated on 12th September 2019 to tap the skills of the students in the field of Electrical and Electronic products such as Switch gears, Smart Electronic devices, etc., A Memorandum of understanding was signed with M/s. Salzer Electronics Private Limited, Coimbatore on that day. In the center, variety of industrial components, motor control products, transformers, wires, cables and energy management products are available for students and researchers to enrich their knowledge. The center aims to support and foster interest for students and researchers in various aspects related to Switch Gear products and Smart Electronic Devices design and manufacturing. The students are trained periodically in the field of Electrical and Electronics product design by providing workshops, hands on training, in-plant training and internships. The center extends support to the participants of Electrical and Electronics product design competitions that are held at all over the India.
OBJECTIVES
- The aim of Dr.N.G.P. IT – SALZER INNOVATION CENTER will be to support and foster interest in various aspects related to Switch Gear products and Smart Electronic Devices design and manufacturing.
- To train up the students periodically in the field of Electrical and Electronics product design by providing workshops, hands on training, in-plant training and internships.
- To support the students and researchers to offer optimum solutions for real world problems.
- The center will also extend support to the participants of Electrical and Electronics product design competitions that are held at all over the India
- The center will engage in an untiring work in smart devices and systems to contribute to the global automation scenario and the future of smart grid.
OUTCOMES
- Students and researchers participated in an international level conferences and presented their ideas.
- Students and researchers will demonstrate knowledge of smart devices and systems.
- Students, faculty members and the research scholars have utilized the resources to carry out research works.
- Better visibility for college nationally.
