About Texas Instruments

For more than 80 years, Texas Instruments has used increasingly complex signal-processing technology - with advances ranging from the incremental to the revolutionary - to literally and repeatedly change the world.

Texas Instruments, actively driving the Indian semiconductor ecosystem to maintain the high pace of the emerging electronic market in India.

TI India commenced operations in Bangalore in 1985, becoming the first multinational to set up an R&D facility in India. TI India started with the development and support of proprietary Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software systems used for Integrated Circuit (IC) design by TI's semiconductor design centers worldwide.

TI India also has an extensive University Relations program under which it works with several Indian universities. Through this program, TI India has helped to establish many DSP labs which train more than 35,000 students a year in more than 650 universities and colleges in graduation and post-graduation studies.

About TI Center, Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology:

Texas Instruments Center is established at Dr.N.G.P Institute of technology on 27th February 2014, inaugurated and MoU signed by Dr. C.P Ravikumar, Technical Director – University Relations, Texas Instruments, Bangalore. Since then various Value Added Training Programs such as Analog System Design, Embedded System Design with MSP430 and Hands on training with DSP C2000 has been conducted in this center which creates job opportunities for the students in electronics industries. In addition to this, hands on training with VLSI FPGA are also conducted in this Center.

Texas Instruments Center at Dr.N.G.P Institute of technology is also engaged in conduction of Faculty Development Programs, Workshops in the field of Signal Processing and Embedded System Design for students and faculty members. This center also helps the students in doing their final year projects in the field of electronics.
