MECHLADOZ of Mechanical Engineering Department is an organization formed by the students that works for the students since 2010. The basic aim of MECHLADOZ is to enrich students with different qualities to add dimensions to their personality so that every student emerges as multifaceted engineer in the society. Every Mechanical Engineering student at the start of the second year is a member of MECHLADOZ. Mentored by the faculty members of the Mechanical Engineering department, students take upon many initiatives that prepare them to face the challenges of the future. MECHLADOZ brings about the technical development of students by organizing seminars, workshops, conferences, industrial visits and other activities and also to improve non-technical abilities of students. MECHLADOZ seeks to be an active organization of Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology which promotes the career interests of the students.

Duties and responsibilities of office bearers

Student President

• Supervising all student association meetings.
• Overseeing the process of student organization event planning.
• Completing all student organization purchase requests.
• Maintaining a current list of email address and mobile numbers of the Association office bearers .
• Submitting a detailed report on association activities at the end of every semester.
• Coordinating with secretary, treasurer, and other executive council members of the association and maintain discipline among the students

Student secretary

• Supervising student association meetings in the absence of the President .
• Assisting the President with the oversight of the student association including fundraising, event planning, etc.
• Working with the student association treasurer to prepare an annual budgets.
• Scheduling locations for meetings and events.
• Coordinating with the Treasurer in association fund raising efforts.
• Coordinating with other bearers and executive council members of the association and maintain discipline among the students.

Student treasurer

• Preparation of students association annual budget.
• Monitoring the budget.
• Submission of annual financial report.
• Tending to the status of all purchase requests.
• Collection of association fund from all the students and deposit in the students association account.
• Payment of bills.
• Keeping records for all financial transactions.
• Preparation of monthly financial report and documents and inform about the financial status.

• Establishing duties of the president, and secretary.
• Coordination with the office bearers of the association in performing various association related activities.
• Coordination with the executive council members of the association in performing various association related activities.
